This commission was for a family that loved the woods that abutted their yard. They were especially fond of the foxes they spotted trotting through the paths and on fallen logs. What better way to bless the forest than with a sculpture dedicated to this fox spirit perched atop some local flora? I think the holes between the legs of the fox make it seem much lighter and bring it to life. The chamber in the middle of the iris flower is the perfect height for children to store precious fairy gifts.
